I am showing two paintings at this years Royal Society of Marine Artists annual exhibition.

The exhibition is held at the Mall Galleries near Trafalgar Square between the 17 and 28 October 2012.

The two paintings were selected from over 700 submissions to appear alongside paintings by some of Britain's leading contemporary marine artists. This annual exhibition has come to be recognised as the most prestigious and varied exhibition of marine art in the UK.

One of the paintings is of Saltmarsh and the other of a rather nice shaped boat out of water, both on Mersea Island.

My wife and I went along to the private view on Tuesday and was pleased to catch up with fellow artists such as David Pilgrim (AROI) and Karl Terry. It was also great to meet up again and have a couple of long chats with David Curtis (ROI, RSMA) and Trevor Chamberlain (ROI, RSMA). The work on show was, as always, outstanding and it was a pleasure to be there.
